Hypnosis takes place quite naturally in your life on a daily basis. We regularly drift in and out of hypnosis throughout each and every day of our lives. For example daydreaming; you’re in hypnosis. Think about when you’re absorbed in a good book or film and lose all track of time. Yes you’re right that’s hypnosis and it’s a part of our everyday lives. Perhaps you will now be able to recall many times when you naturally drifted into hypnosis?
The benefits and uses of hypnosis are far reaching and can be applicable to a multitude of unwanted behaviours and symptoms that we can collect through our life.
Hypnosis can promote positive feelings, help you to let go of unwanted feelings, enhance performance, provide relaxation and give you the confidence and drive to move forward with the lifestyle changes that you now want.
In hypnosis you’re aware of your surroundings where most of your senses are enhanced. You hear what I am saying, aware of what you’re sitting on, any smells, how you feel. We can talk, laugh, you can alter your position; you’re in control. You’re simply absorbed in a comfortable level of relaxation which is brought about through focused attention as you work in collaborating with me enabling you to accept all the positive and life-enhancing suggestions, overcoming unwanted behaviours and restrictions.
There is nothing spiritual or mysterious about the hypnosis. Hypnotherapists are not psychics or palm readers with “special powers” As a qualified hypnotherapist and EFT practitioner I work with you to help you make positive changes in your life.
There is a level of responsibility on your part and by embracing hypnotherapy you can have the skills and awareness to live the life you deserve.
EFT: Emotional Freedom Technique:
EFT can reduce the conventional therapy process from months or years down to minutes, hours or a few sessions. EFT is empowering and can be utilised alongside other therapies or as a standalone alone treatment.
EFT stems back over 5000 years and is an emotional version of acupuncture, except we don’t use any needles! It is used to optimise your emotional health and is based on meridian points used in acupuncture. You gently tap these points on the body with your fingertips.
Once you have learnt the technique you can apply it to many aspects of your life for example:
Remove negative feelings, anxieties
Reduce food cravings, habits
Reduce or eliminate pain
Implement positivity, energy, all round improvements

Calming, acceptance, peace
