I contacted Rachel for pain relief. For the first time in a long time I felt more positive and pain free. Rachel is the most loving, caring, happy, sympathetic and helpful lady I’ve met. I was not sure what I would gain at first when working with you. I have been sceptical in the past of things like this, but as my life is a whirlwind of anxiety, insomnia and bad driving I was willing to give it a go. I guess I was hoping that after years of being the sort of person who is always on edge, that someone at long last might be able to provide the miracle ‘cure’
Afterwards I felt very very relaxed and surprisingly, a very confident driver, just took in all in my stride, like I had being doing it my whole life.
The most significant improvement I think is that I do not stress or worry over things that I cannot change, I am more relaxed about things and am not to selfish. I am also planning to drive to York and I am confident that I can do it, there are no negative thoughts any more.
I would definitely recommend a client to go to you. I would tell them what a warm, caring, relaxed and very professional person you are. Also not forgetting to say that you are also very welcoming and very likable.
All I can add is that I am very glad that I ‘won’ this prize, it has been a life changer, seriously. If I have any negative thoughts come into my head now, I push it aside and try to look at the good things.

Firstly let me start by saying a massive thank you to Rachel for all her help, in not only understanding my problem and helping me to get it under control but also putting it all into some kind of perspective.
I had a long standing problem that held my family and I back from fulfilling an urge to travel, I WAS afraid of flying. In the last couple of years we as family had taken the plunge and holidayed in the sun, which is great, but getting there and back and was putting a real strain on the whole family unit. Weeks before travel I would be suffering quite uncomfortable anxiety, on the flight itself it was unbearable and to start a holiday in that manner and then start to worry about the flight home was no way to be going on. After the last trip I was adamant that this fear had to somehow change and be brought under control to an acceptable level to enable my family and I to do travelling that we craved. The use of prescription drugs was not an option for me so I did some research and found that hypnotherapy looked like a very good solution and would be the way forward.
Although sceptical about the whole hypnotherapy thing and what it could offer me, my first meeting with Rachel made all those doubts disappear.
The moment I met Rachel I felt completely at ease and I knew I had made the right choice. Rachel listened to my problem and came up with a course of action and treatment, which was explained to me at a level I could understand, which was first class. The hypnotherapy sessions I had with Rachel where brilliant, she taught me various techniques for dealing and coping with the stress and anxiety leading up to a flight and also how to control these feeling whilst in the air. Rachel’s approach is great and her guidance, to not only dealing with the major problem, but also passing on techniques for making you relax more and boost confidence.
I have now finished my treatment with Rachel and I can only say what a change from a few weeks ago. The anxiety and worry I usually suffer prior to taking a flight, I am due to go on holiday (4 hour flight) in the next 3 weeks has gone. I find myself in a position where, for the first time in years, I am looking forward to getting on the plane. I now find it easier to completely relax and those little things that caused me stress don’t matter as much anymore and I can manage to put them into perspective.
If I was sat on the fence trying to decide whether or not to commit to hypnotherapy with Rachel, it’s a no brainer. I am a 30 year armed forces veteran and thought I was tough enough to manage my problem by myself, how wrong can you be. I had a desire to change and committed myself to the whole process, Rachel made this far easier than I could have ever imagined. In the past, I have successfully used hypnosis to assist with major surgery, so when I needed help with nerve pain in the feet and I felt unable to take the heavy medication prescribed; it was the obvious place to turn for help.
There are two main requirements when using hypnotherapy: a complete trust in your therapist together with a belief and a willingness to commit yourself to the process. Rachel Hoe came highly recommended and is widely qualified. She explains things clearly and is responsive to questioning. From our first discussion meeting I had complete confidence in Rachel. In fact, it was more than that; I was totally at ease with her.
Following successful work on the feet, we moved onto addressing my weight problem and I was doing very well until I had to go into hospital to undertake major surgery. Obviously, I turned once more to Rachel for help. As a result, my attitude towards the surgery was positive and without anxiety. My recovery was beyond my wildest hopes and without any of the predicted emotional trauma.
My time with Rachel has been time well spent. She has had a positive effect on so many aspects of my life and it has been a pleasure to work with her. I deliberately say “work with her” as successful results depend on you working together as a team. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rachel.
